Worked closely with the council and representatives of the Afro-Caribbean community within Croydon to design a website with features that effectively represented the Diaspora.
To allow the client control over the website we developed a content management system that enabled the Croydon to easily manage an events page, mailing list database, video and picture blogging gallery with public comments, approve and edit public messages, and change and update the promotional adverts throughout the website.
Huge community interest with over 1000 unique hits monthly, over 80 unique blog entries per month for the first 3 months.
Since the project was launched in 2009 Croydon Council has re-engaged S@G for further work.
Open outlets across England for Grace Kennedy Money Services UK to enable them to offer money remittances services via existing Western Union outlets.
Redesign each outlet with new branding, point of sale and print advertising material.
S@G organised standard systems of signage and pricing; then rebranded all retail outfits that joined the scheme.
We developed a system of production control, site visits, signage production and installation, reporting regularly to GKMS and Western Union.
Over 35 outlets nationwide were rebranded and provided with point of sale material and merchandise.
GKMS were able to concentrate on attracting new agencies across the UK, without employing expensive resources to manage the design and installation process.
A new hair and beauty salon was preparing to open in a highly competitive area of London.
Accordingly, required the design of a brand and marketing material that would:
- Differentiate salon from competitors
- Establish salon as a quality service at a reasonable price
- Communicate their services and increase foot flow
Worked closely with the client to design a classy logo that was developed into stationery material to provide the salon with a professional front.
A quality pricelist was created using salon imagery.
Using point of sale materials, a ‘recommend a friend’ scheme and 10% discount campaign was introduced to increase foot flow and build customer loyalty.

We supplied the client with several print proofs on different materials to ensure the texture of the paper would appeal to their clientele.
The final product was made up of 4 colours with a 5th special colour for the cover that became the client's brand colour, pantone 181.
The final article was a 12 page brochure. The text was printed on a quality 170gsm Satimatt Natural paper, whilst the cover was a premium 300gsm Conqueror High White Laid material with a matt lamination.
The final product felt unique due to the matt lamination on a conqueror material.The brochure provided a sense of ‘prestige’ that lead to further orders and an increase in investors.
